About Us

At Sakura Stretch Yoga, we celebrate the calm beauty of small, consistent steps. Our name is inspired by the cherry blossom—sakura—a reminder that growth happens gently and with patience. We built this space for people who want a welcoming introduction to yoga without the pressure of performance or comparison.

Our approach is simple: move with awareness, breathe with intention, and finish class feeling clear rather than exhausted. We keep class sizes modest and offer optional chair support, blocks, and straps. Instructors guide with cues that prioritize safety, personal choice, and informed consent. We invite questions, encourage breaks, and never require poses that don’t feel right for you.

While our roots are in Japanese mindfulness traditions, our classes are inclusive and practical for all backgrounds. Whether you’re returning to movement after time away, balancing work‑from‑home stiffness, or simply looking for a quiet hour, you’ll find accessible sequences and a friendly community here.
